Thanks to all of the efforts over many years of the Committee, our members, supporters and sponsors, we enter 2020 in the best financial position we have been in.
Clearly the Coronavirus pandemic potentially risks the financial progress we have made, but even so, we want to ensure we aren’t making things worse for all of those who need to focus on surviving the real issues we are facing. We are a community club; here for the community, supported by the community.
Therefore we have taken the decision to not charge subscriptions for 2020 at any point before we know what the season will look like and then we will think about a revised subscription/match fees schedule. If we don’t play, we don’t intend to charge.
This will challenge us, so if any of our members, supporters and sponsors are able to help us by:
- Donating to the club in lieu of subscriptions (any amount, would obviously offset any later decision on subs/match fees).
- Continuing to, or beginning to, sponsor the club.
- And particularly joining the bonus ball! A great way to show your support for the club for £2 a week, with a chance to win £50 each Saturday.
