A massive “THANK YOU” for all who contributed, helped, attended and enjoyed last night’s quiz. It was a great evening where we filled the clubhouse to witness the ‘Nutters’ scoop the win from the ‘Inmates’, team names that might indicate where their members reside I fancy!
We are delighted to confirm that after 3 events we are HALF WAY THERE having now raised £1,000 towards the new mower.
WELL DONE EVERYBODY.
Congratulations too for the ground staff at ICC and notably Andy Coker and Andy Johnson for scooping runner up in Devon Cricket Boards best ground of the season this week. Our new banner is a fitting tribute to the work the guys put in and with a new MOWer, who knows, we might make it to number 1 next year!
We now need to keep that MOWmentum going.
The next date for your diaries is Saturday February 20th when we have the bag pack at Tesco from 10am to 4pm. Nikki Johnson is co-ordinating shifts for this one for adults and colts so please contact her on johnson250@btinternet.com if you can afford some time that day and help. As they say at Tesco, “Every Little Helps”.
MOWer funds can also be raised by sponsoring our 6 runners doing the Plymouth Half Marathon in April. A sponsorship link will be issued shortly. There is also an opportunity for the club via Wombat Cricket at wombatcricket.co.uk. If you order goods through their website, please quote that you are from Ivybridge and the club can receive money back on orders placed once a threshold across all orders is reached.
