Friday night saw a dozen hardy souls watching FA Cup football at the club whilst enjoying a few drinks and a game of pool. The Get MOWtivated campaign swung into gear and the profits from the evening should just about afford us a key for the new mower.
There are plenty more opportunities for you to get involved and help us gain some MOWmentum with our efforts.
This coming Saturday the 16th January we have a poker night at the club from 7.30pm. Always a popular event for both experienced and new hands alike. Please contact Gareth on garethandrews31@yahoo.co.uk if you fancy trying your luck.
The AGM then features on Thursday January 21st from 7.30pm at the club when all members are invited to hear about the health of our club and elect our officers for the year ahead.
On Friday February 5th its the quiz night from 7.30pm. Teams of 4, at £10 entry per team, with valuable prizes to be won, so call your friends, raise a side and test your wits against the resident quiz master. Please contact Martin at devonknights@hotmail.co.uk if you wish to participate.
And finally, 5 of us have so far signed up to run the Plymouth Half Marathon on Sunday April 17th. If anyone 17 years of age or older wishes to join in getting fit and raising a few quid then please let Jerry know on jerry@atlyric.co.uk
