Calling all club members, parents and helpers!
With the season nearly upon us we will be giving Filham Park a spring clean and undertaking some importance pre-season maintenance next weekend. We will start the work on Friday night (from 5pm) with the priority being to treat our perimeter fence with wood preserver and undertake some running repairs to the wire part of the fence.
The colts will be training for an hour first, weather permitting, starting at 5pm, and then on to the fence painting!
On Saturday and Sunday we will finish the fence and have a number of other jobs to do such as: – – Cleaning the dressing rooms
– Cleaning and tidying the bar
– Tidying the colts kit and sorting the kit bags for the season
– Cleaning the artificial wicket
– Tying up the nets and cleaning the matting
– Rolling the square and the outfield
– Cleaning the sightscreens
There are plenty of jobs to do – so please come and lend a hand. Bacon butties and pasties will be on hand to feed the troops on Saturday and Sunday and we have plenty of CricketForce t-shirts to give away!
