A reminder that it is ICC’s BIG WEEKEND this weekend with events on every day down at Filham Park so please support us where you can.
On Friday June 10th from 6pm Paula Clough is organising a 3km park run for children and adults with a £5 entry fee with all funds raised going to the Colts section. Fancy dress or whites to be worn for this one. Regular colts training or some Kwik Cricket games will occur after the park run. Weather permitting the BBQ will be on so don’t eat too much before coming down!
On Saturday 11th the 2s are at home to Brixham from 1.30pm so come and enjoy a beer whilst watching their progress. The cricket will be followed by the screening of England vs Russia in Euro 2016. We have a theme of retro football shirts so wear your oldest one and for £7 sample some of Jeewan’s wife’s (Kanchi) wonderful curry. If you’d like the curry please let us know by Friday evening if you can so that Kanchi can provision for numbers. Mr Borrow is back from the Middle East for a few weeks and promises to make an appearance in the evening so join him for a game of cards and a beer.
Then on Sunday 12th June we have an under 11 game in the morning followed by a barbecue at 1pm, the naming of the MOWer at 2pm and thereafter an afternoon of family rounders, again organised by Paula and Jerry Clough. Showers are forecast so bring suitable clothing and footwear. As Devon residents we wont let a drop of rain stop the fun!
This promises to be a HUGE weekend for the club so please support the events as much as you can and share a glass to toast the arrival of the MOWer. We all worked really hard to acquire this great asset for the club so lets celebrate together.
